About Fat Babes TO

Our Core Values

Fat Babes TO is focused on building a community of plus size babes who love fashion and care about the future of our planet.

We believe in recycling clothing and keeping it out of landfills by reselling it at affordable prices.

We care about diversity, equity and inclusion in fashion and creating safe spaces for all to explore their personal style.

We believe everyone has a right to fashion, not just clothing, but garments that help express our personality, originality and fit our unique bodies.

Fat Babes TO is so much more than just a store. We hope to contribute to the plus size community through events and by building support networks for community members.

About our Founder

Fat Babes TO was started by Hanna Bradley-Smyth in 2024 when she joined together her passion for accessible, plus size fashion and her desire to create sustainable options for fashion lovers.
Hanna has always been fashion obsessed! As a child she loved playing dress up and creating new outfits for her Barbies. As a young teen she studied sewing and began making clothing for herself. She went on to complete her Fashion Design certificate at George Brown College.
After graduation Hanna began to focus her sewing on costumes and cosplay. She has worked with many of the big names in Toronto's Burlesque community creating both classic showgirl outfits and screen accurate cosplays.
In 2014 Hanna decided to go back to school to study portrait photography and opened her business Dolly Shots Photography, where she specializes in Boudoir and Pinup photography.
In 2024 Hanna kicked off Fat Babes TO with a plus size Swap n' Sell. This event was a huge success and gave Hanna the confidence to begin selling pre-loved clothing as well as her own designs.
