Our very first event was a Swap n' Sell where fat babes from across the GTA gathered to swap and sell their pre-loved clothing. This event was a huge success and was the catalyst for the creation of Fat Babes TO!

The first plus size market we attended was The Plus Not Minus Market at the Toronto Reference Library. We did really well for our first time out and made so many new friends, from customers and other businesses.

The Plus Size Markets put on by Polyester Plus are an amazing place to find incredible deals and to build a fabulous fat wardrobe! We had a blast doing the Fall Market in 2024!

The Toronto Queer Market is a wonderful gathering of local queer artists and makers. We enjoyed their winter market which had free hot chocolate and gingerbread cookies to keep our fat babe customers happy!
